Monday Mornings in Dubai

In December 2014 and January 2015, we lived in Dubai. This was a huge change from the seaside village where we lived before, but of course we continued to go out for breakfast or lunch on Monday morning - amidst skyscrapers, at beaches, in malls and other places we enjoyed Dubai's varied multicultural culinary offerings. Below are the reports on our Monday mornings in Dubai.

Every Monday morning I have breakfast or lunch with my son. Find out what happens here.

These blogs are not meant as just reviews, although that certainly is part of the blog. I will describe the atmosphere, the food and other aspects of the places where we have our breakfasts. But this is also my personal journal, containing ideas I happen to have and descriptions of events in my life and the life of my son.

Older blogposts are about the same kind of mornings, but with my daughter, Rihanna Gaga, who was born in 2013.

Who is Billie Stormzy?

Billie Stormzy was born in September 2019 and lives together with his mother sister and me in Scheveningen, the seaside part of The Hague.

This blog is also the story of his training to be the leading expert on the subject of enjoying the good life. His opinion on the design, atmosphere and fellow patrons of beach clubs, cafes and restaurants will be dutifully reported upon in these blogs.

He was named after two of the greatest contemporary pop artists, but not really, since this is not his real name.

He enjoys milk, sleeping, doing gymnastics and smiling.

He doesn't enjoy socks, loud sounds, and not getting fed when he wants to.
